UTSAV RESTAURANT- A TREAT FOR VEGGIES

   

      Nesteled inside busy streets of Thane, Utsav restaurant presents an epitome culinary experience. It is known for it's several Indian and Continental dishes but mostly for it's mouth melting paneer. 
     As you make your way inside the hotel, you enter a space which is always buzzing and intriguing. The décor is simplistic and pleasant. On weekends and at evenings you will always find a waiting list. This restaurant have extremely loyal customers. The service here is quick and the staff is polite. Although the prices of the dishes are a bit high. All the dishes are available throughout the day. There is no lunch time.
      Utsav has a lot to offer when it comes to good food. For starters I will recommend Veg. Crispy, dip fried vegetables  served with shechwan  chutney and Pizza. This place give you chance to make your own Pasta by customising the type of Pasta, Sause and toppings. 

Paneer Muslam with Tandoori Roti

       For the main course I will suggest you to go with Paneer dishes because that is what they prepare best. I have tried Paneer Muslam   which is basically stir fried  vegetables cooked with paneer in an Indian gravy  topped with freshly chopped corriender and cream that would work equally well with Tandoori Roti or Naan as it does for itself. The Paneer was really soft and fresh. 

Manchurian Rice

        Utsav's sumptuous Manchurian Rice , Fried rice topped with Manchurian gravy and balls is a must try dish. It is the most ordered dish in this eatery. Though the Soy Sause based Manchurian Gravy is absolutely lip smacking,  the Fried Rice just blows your mind. The Manchurian balls are very soft. Sometimes one doesn't need bold overpowering flavours to make a point. The delicacy of subtle flavouring is an art that many restaurants are yet to master. Utsav does it with its Fried Rice.They also offers a bunch of refreshments from Buttermilk to Mocktails. Desserts are less thrilling.
           Utsav is a paradise for foodies who wants to try different vegetarian cuisines under a single roof. If you ever visit Thane do explore Utsav Restaurant.
